Croshinis (fried baguette slices)

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 100 g fine liverwurst
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Whipped cream
  • 2 TABLESPOONS dry sherry
  • 1 big tomato
  • 1/2 (90 ml) small glass of pesto
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Olive oil
  • 12 discs Baguette
  • 1 TABLESPOON pickled green pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Basil and lemon

Directions

    Mix liverwurst with cream and sherry. Clean, wash and quarter the tomato and remove the seeds. Cut tomato quarters into small cubes and mix with the pesto. Peel garlic and cut into thin slices.

    Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a frying pan, fry the garlic slices in it until golden brown and take them out. Pour the rest of the oil into the pan, fry the baguette slices on both sides, take them out and let them cool down.

    Spread 4 baguette slices with liver sausage and sprinkle pepper over them. Cover 4 slices with tomato pesto, the rest with garlic slices. Arrange 3 baguette slices (one of each variety) on plates.

    Garnish with lemon and basil.
