Crispy waffles with strawberry cream

Ingredients

Servings: 10
  • 250 g Butter or margarine
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 4 Eggs (size M)
  • 1/2 TEASPOON Citro-back
  • 150 g Cornstarch
  • 150 g Flour
  • 1/2 TEASPOON Baking Powder
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1/8 l Milk
  • 250 g Strawberries
  • 400 g Whipped cream
  • 2 packages Vanillin sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Chocolate shavings
  • 7-10 Tbsp Oil

Directions

    For the dough, mix the fat and sugar until foamy. Stir in the eggs one by one. Add Citro-back. Mix and stir in starch, flour, baking powder and salt. Add milk and mix to a smooth dough.

    Coat the waffle iron with oil, add dough in portions and bake until golden brown. For the topping, clean, wash and slice the strawberries. Whip the cream until stiff. Add vanilla sugar and fold in strawberries.

    Pour on the waffles and sprinkle with chocolate shavings. Makes about 10 pieces.
