Crisp nut bread with ham

Ingredients

Servings: 6
  • 2 TABLESPOONS White wine vinegar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sugar
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 1 shallot or 1⁄2 small onion
  • 75–100 g Lamb's lettuce
  • 100 g cherry tomatoes
  • 50 g Hard cheese (piece; e.g. mountain cheese)
  • 6 discs Nut bread (approx. 50 g each)
  • 2-3 TABLESPOONS Butter
  • 80 g raw ham in very thin slices

Directions

    For the marinade, mix vinegar, salt, pepper and a little sugar. Fold in the oil. Peel, dice and stir in the shallot. Clean the salad, wash well and shake dry. Wash and halve the tomatoes.

    Mix with marinade.

    Slicing cheese. Crisply toast bread in hot butter. Cover with ham and cheese. Serve, garnish with salad.
