Colorful turnip salad with chicken salami

Ingredients

  • 500 g Turnip
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 400 g Celery
  • 1 (approx. 150 g) red apple
  • 1 TABLESPOON Lemon juice
  • 1/2 Head frisée salad
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Fruit vinegar
  • 1/2 TEASPOON Sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 4 discs (approx. 50 g) Poultry salami

Directions

    Peel, wash and cut the turnip into fine sticks. Steam for 10 minutes in a little salt water. Clean and wash the celery, put some green aside for garnishing. Cut celery stalks into slices and blanch in boiling salted water for about 3 minutes.

    Drain and let it cool down. Wash apple, quarter it, remove core. Cut apple into slices and sprinkle with lemon juice. Clean, wash and drain the salad. Arrange turnip, celery and frisée on a plate.

    Mix vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper. Whip the oil into the mixture. Pour the marinade over the salad ingredients. Arrange apple slices and salami on top. Serve garnished with celery green. Serve with wholemeal rolls.
