Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 1 kg Potatoes
  • 500 g White cabbage
  • 1-2 (approx. 300 g) Leek sticks (leek)
  • 2 red peppers
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp Caraway seeds
  • 1-2 Bay leaves
  • 7-10 Tbsp coarse pepper, salt
  • 2 (10 g each) stock cube "spice composition with herbs and spices
  • 2-3 stem(s) Parsley

Directions

    Peel, wash and cut the potatoes into large pieces. Clean and wash the vegetables. Cut cabbage into coarse strips. Peppers in pieces and leek in rings cut

    Heat the oil in a pot. Sauté cabbage and potatoes for about 5 minutes while turning. Add half leek and paprika, caraway and bay leaf. Season with pepper and only a little salt

    Then add approx. 1 1/2 l water and bring to the boil briefly. Cover and cook for about 30 minutes

    Add the rest of the leek and paprika after 15 minutes. Dissolve the stock cubes in the stew about 5 minutes before the end of the cooking time while stirring. Remove the bay leaf and season the stew. Wash parsley, chop finely and sprinkle over it
