Ingredients

  • 200 g Flour
  • 100 g Butter
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 100 g Icing sugar
  • 1 egg (size M)
  • 600 g Whipped cream
  • 250 g Dark chocolate (at least 70% cocoa content)
  • 30 piece(s) Cigarettes Russes Biscuits
  • 7-10 Tbsp Fat and flour
  • 7-10 Tbsp Flour
  • 7-10 Tbsp Cocoa

Directions

    For the base, place flour, butter in flakes, 1 pinch of salt, icing sugar and egg in a bowl. First knead with the dough hook of the hand mixer, then knead with your hands to a smooth dough. Roll out to a circle (approx. 30 cm Ø) on a floured work surface. Place in a greased tart mould (26 cm Ø, with lift-off base) sprinkled with flour and press down the rim. Bake in a preheated oven In a preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: see manufacturer) for approx. 15 minutes. Let cool on a cake rack. Remove from the mould

    In the meantime heat 300 g cream and remove from the heat. Break the chocolate into pieces and melt in it while stirring. Pour the chocolate mixture into the tart and let it cool down for about 30 minutes until the mixture becomes creamy firm. Place the biscuits close together on the chocolate cream and press them lightly. Whip the rest of the cream until stiff and spread it on the tart in a wavy pattern
