Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 150 g cooked ham in thick slices
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Olive oil
  • 1 TABLESPOON Vinegar (e.g. white balsamic vinegar)
  • 7-10 Tbsp white pepper, salt
  • 80 g olives without stone (e.g. green and black)
  • 1 medium sized tomato
  • 40 g Rucola or some salad leaves (rocket)
  • 1/2 Ciabatta or baguette bread
  • 1 tablespoon (30 g) Double cream cream cheese
  • 7-10 Tbsp Garnish with thyme

Directions

  1. 1

If necessary, cut off the fat edge from the ham. Cut the ham into small cubes. Fry briefly in hot oil. Deglaze with vinegar and 1-2 tbsp. water. Bring to the boil, season with pepper and salt if necessary. Cool down

  2. 2

Cut olives into rings. Wash, quarter, seed and finely dice the tomato. Clean, wash and chop the arugula. Mix everything with the ham, season to taste

  3. 3

Cut bread into about 8 slices. Spread with cream cheese. Spread ham and olive salad on top. Garnish with thyme

  4. 4

You can also prepare this snack spontaneously, because the ingredients can be kept in stock. If necessary, simply leave out rocket salad
