Christmas decoration from meringue

Ingredients

  • 500 g + 1 tablespoon icing sugar
  • 2 fresh protein
  • 7-10 Tbsp colourful love beads,
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sugar decoration and writing
  • baking paper, ribbon

Directions

    Line two baking trays with baking paper. Sieve 500 g icing sugar into a mixing bowl. Add egg white and mix with the whisk of the hand mixer to a smooth mixture.

    Place a piping bag with a large star-shaped spout in a mixing bowl and fill with beaten egg white in portions. Spray different motifs (e.g. hearts, stars, walking stick etc.) onto the sheets. Decorate immediately with love beads, sugar decoration and writing.

    Leave to dry at room temperature for at least 2 days.

    Dust with 1 tablespoon icing sugar. Use ribbons to hang on branches or the fir tree as decoration.
