Ingredients

  • 200 g Sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 100 g Cocoa powder

Directions

    Bring 250 ml water, sugar and salt to the boil in a saucepan. Stir in cocoa powder with a whisk and let it simmer for about 5 minutes while stirring.

    Fill into glasses or bottles while still hot and seal them. Let it cool down. Keeps in the refrigerator for several weeks. Can be served hot or cold. Straight from the fridge the syrup is rather thick.
