Ingredients

  • 150 g Dark chocolate
  • 2 eggs + 1 egg yolk (Gr. M)
  • 150 g + approx. 100 g icing sugar
  • 1 TABLESPOON Amaretto
  • 1 TEASPOON Cinnamon
  • 1 knife tip grated nutmeg
  • 250 g crushed almonds
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Flour
  • 7-10 Tbsp Cling film
  • baking paper

Directions

    Finely grate the chocolate. Separate eggs. Mix 3 egg yolks, 150 g icing sugar, Amaretto and spices with the whisks of the mixer for about 5 minutes until thick and frothy. Beat the egg white until stiff. Fold almonds, chocolate, flour and beaten egg white into the egg yolk mixture.

    Cover and chill for about 30 minutes.

    Preheat oven (electric cooker: 150 °C/circulating air: 125 °C/gas: level 1).

    Line two baking trays with baking paper. Form approx. 40 oval loaves from the mixture and roll them thickly all around in approx. 100 g icing sugar. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes one after the other. Let them cool down.
