Ingredients

  • 150 g Butter
  • 100 g unsalted macadamia nuts (if necessary also salted and roasted)
  • 100 g unsalted peanuts
  • 2 Eggs (size M)
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Whipped cream
  • 200 g demerara sugar
  • 400 g Flour
  • 45 g Cocoa powder
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • baking paper

Directions

    Melt the butter. Meanwhile, chop the macadamia and peanuts separately. Whisk eggs and cream. Mix butter and sugar. Stir eggs and cream into the fat mass bit by bit. Mix flour, cocoa and salt, also add and knead in.

    Halve the dough. Mix peanuts into one half and macadamia nuts into the other half. Form approx. 19 balls from each half of the dough, place them on 1-2 baking trays lined with baking paper and press them flat a little. Bake the baking trays one after the other in the preheated oven 2nd rail from below (electric oven: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) for 12-15 minutes. Let them cool down
