Chocolate mousse with marinated oranges

Ingredients

  • 100 g Milk chocolate
  • 100 g Fine dark chocolate (70 % cocoa)
  • 4 Eggs (size M)
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Sugar
  • 150 g Whipped cream
  • 2 Oranges
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Orange or peach liqueur
  • 7-10 Tbsp orange peel, cinnamon and cinnamon stars

Directions

    Break the chocolate into pieces and melt them in a warm water bath. Let it cool down a little. Separate the eggs. Cream egg yolk and 2 tablespoons of sugar. Beat egg whites and cream separately until stiff.

    Slowly stir the chocolate into the egg yolk mixture. Carefully fold in the egg whites and cream alternately. Pour the mousse into a flat glass bowl and chill for approx. 6 hours. Peel oranges so that the white skin is completely removed. Cut oranges into slices. Mix liqueur and 2 tablespoons of sugar. Marinate the orange slices for about 30 minutes. Use 2 tablespoons to prick 8 cams from the mousse. Arrange the mousse and orange slices in small bowls.
