Chocolate banana muesli bars

Ingredients

Servings: 20
  • 200 g Cashew nuts
  • 200 g crunchy oats
  • 200 g dried banana chips
  • 130 g Butter
  • 120 g Honey
  • 200 g baked muesli (e.g. Seitenbacher)
  • 30 Flour
  • 1 Protein (size M)
  • 50 g Dark chocolate
  • baking paper

Directions

    Coarsely chop the seeds and roast them in a pan without fat until golden brown. Take out and let cool down. Roast oat flakes as well. Coarsely chop bananas

    Melt the butter and mix it with honey in a large bowl until smooth. Add the oats, muesli, flour, seeds and bananas and mix well. Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold into the mixture

    Pour the muesli mixture onto a baking tray lined with baking paper. Form into a rectangle (L: 30 cm x W: 20 cm x H: 2 cm). Bake in a preheated oven (electric cooker: 175 °C/ convection oven: 150 °C/ gas: see manufacturer) for approx. 25 minutes until slightly browned and pressure-resistant. Allow to cool for approx. 10 minutes, then cut into 20 bars (each approx. 4 x 10 cm)

    Melt the chocolate over a warm water bath, decorate the bars and let them cool
