Chicory with Black Forest Ham and Goat Cheese

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 4 pistons Chicory
  • 1 TABLESPOON Butter
  • 1 TABLESPOON Olive oil
  • 1 TEASPOON Sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 8 discs (approx. 100 g) Black Forest Ham
  • 150 g Fresh goat cheese
  • 3 TABLESPOONS gelled cranberries
  • 3 Stem(s) Parsley

Directions

    Wash the chicory, shake dry and cut in half lengthwise. Remove the outer leaves and cut out the stalk. Heat the butter and olive oil in a pan, stir in the sugar and fry the chicory for 4-6 minutes with the cut surface facing downwards.

    Remove the chicory and place it in an ovenproof dish with the cut surface facing upwards, lightly season with salt and pepper. In a preheated oven (electric cooker: 20

    Place 1 slice of ham on each of the chicory halves, crumble the goat's cheese on top and bake in the oven for about 4 minutes. Wash parsley, shake dry and chop. Remove chicory from the oven, arrange, garnish with cranberries and sprinkle with parsley.
