Chicken shashlik with tomato salad

Ingredients

  • 4 TABLESPOONS Wine vinegar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 1 TABLESPOON Honey
  • 7 TABLESPOONS Olive oil
  • 1/2 Pot of basil
  • 1 Onion
  • 400 g cherry tomatoes
  • 2 (approx. 400 g) small zucchini
  • 2 red onions
  • 4 (150 g each) Chicken filets
  • 7-10 Tbsp wooden skewers

Directions

    For the salad, whisk vinegar, salt, pepper and honey. Add 3 tablespoons of oil drop by drop. Wash basil, shake dry and chop except for something to garnish. Peel and finely dice the onion.

    Stir basil and onion into the vinaigrette. Clean, wash and halve the tomatoes and sprinkle with the vinaigrette. Wash and clean the zucchini and cut into 16 slices. Peel the red onions and cut into 16 slices.

    Wash the meat, dab dry and cut into 6 cubes. Put meat, onions and zucchini alternately on 8 skewers. Heat 4 tablespoons of oil. Fry meat skewers in portions on all sides for 8-10 minutes.

    Season with salt and pepper. Arrange skewers and tomato salad on plates. Garnish with basil. Bread tastes good with it.
