Cabbage pan with minced meat

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 150 g streaky smoked bacon
  • 500 g mixed minced meat
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sweet peppers
  • 4 Onions
  • 1 (approx. 600 g) Head white cabbage
  • 1 TABLESPOON Caraway seeds
  • 1 collar Parsley

Directions

    Cut the bacon into cubes. Drain in a pan without fat. Remove the bacon cubes and put the minced meat in coarse pieces in the pan. Fry for about 8 minutes while turning. Season with salt, pepper and paprika and remove from the pan.

    In the meantime, peel the onions and cut them into slices. Clean and wash the cabbage and remove the stalk. Cut cabbage into pieces. Fry cabbage and onions in the frying fat for about 20 minutes, turning. Fold in minced meat and bacon 5 minutes before the end of the frying time.

    Season to taste with caraway seeds, salt and pepper. Wash parsley, dab dry and chop. Sprinkle the cabbage pan with parsley and serve.
