Cabbage and potato pan with fried sausage

Ingredients

  • 500 g Potatoes
  • 750 g White cabbage
  • 75 g streaky smoked bacon
  • 5 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 600 g coarse bratwurst as ring (preorder uncooked from the butcher)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 1 TEASPOON Caraway seeds
  • 7-10 Tbsp some branches of marjoram
  • 7-10 Tbsp wooden skewers

Directions

    Peel, wash and dice the potatoes. Clean, wash and cut cabbage into pieces. Dice bacon. Heat 3 tablespoons of oil in a pan. Leave the bacon out and take it out. Fry the potatoes in the frying fat while turning for 10 minutes. Pin the sausage string with a wooden skewer at the end and let it stand in boiling water for 3-4 minutes, take it out, dab dry and prick it several times with a wooden skewer.

    Heat the remaining oil in a second pan and fry the sausage for 10 minutes at medium heat. Add the cabbage to the potatoes and braise for another 10 minutes. Season with salt, pepper and caraway. Wash the marjoram, put something aside for garnishing. Chop the rest of the marjoram finely and sprinkle over the cabbage with the bacon. Arrange the sausage string on the cabbage-potato pan. Garnish with marjoram
