Brussels sprouts with walnut and bacon

Ingredients

  • 800 g Brussels sprouts
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 50 g Walnut kernel halves
  • 1 TABLESPOON Oil
  • 100 g Bacon
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sugar

Directions

    Clean and wash the Brussels sprouts and cut them crosswise on the stem. Simmer sprouts in boiling salted water for 8-10 minutes. Drain the sprouts and let them drain

    Chop the walnuts smaller as desired. Heat the oil in a coated pan. Fry the bacon in it for 3-4 minutes while turning it over. Add sprouts and walnuts and fry for 2-3 minutes. Season with salt, pepper and a little sugar and serve
