Clean and wash the broccoli and cut it into small florets. Blanch in boiling salted water for about 2 minutes. Drain and let drain well.
In the meantime cut the ham into strips. Finely grate the parmesan. Whisk eggs, cream cheese and cream. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
Mix broccoli, ham, half parmesan and egg mixture. Pour into a casserole dish, sprinkle the rest of the Parmesan cheese on top. Bake in the preheated oven (electric oven: 180 °C/circulating air: 160 °C/gas: see manufacturer) for about 20 minutes. Sprinkle almond flakes on the casserole and bake for another 10 minutes. It is delicious with farmhouse bread.
