Braised turkey thighs on white cabbage

Ingredients

  • 2 small turkey thighs (about 1,1 kg)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Cayenne pepper
  • 1-2 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 1 can(s) (850 ml) peeled tomatoes
  • 1 (approx. 800 g) small white cabbage
  • 2 Onions
  • 1/2 TEASPOON Caraway seeds
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 1/8 l Vegetable broth
  • 7-10 Tbsp Parsley to garnish

Directions

    Wash turkey legs, dab dry and place in a roasting pan with the skin side up. Mix salt, cayenne pepper and oil and brush the legs with it. Roast in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C / gas: level 3) for approx. 30 minutes. Chop the tomatoes in the tin with a knife. Clean and wash the cabbage and cut it into strips.

    Peel and roughly dice the onion. Arrange vegetables around the legs. Season with caraway seeds, salt and pepper and pour on broth. Stew in the roaster for 50 - 60 minutes. Arrange on a plate and serve garnished with parsley
