Blueberry-Lemongrass Jam

Ingredients

  • 600 g wild blueberries from North America (deep-frozen)
  • 300 g Gelling sugar 1:2
  • 1 Apples
  • 1 stick of lemongrass
  • 2 packages Citric acid

Directions

    Place wild blueberries in a pot, mix with the jam sugar and defrost covered.

    Apple quarter, peel, core and cut into small cubes. Cut lemongrass in half crosswise once. Add apple and lemon grass to the blueberries. Bring everything to the boil while stirring and let it boil for 3 minutes until it is bubbling.

    Stir in citric acid and remove the lemon grass. Skim the jam.

    Fill three 250 ml jars with screw cap brimful with jam, close them and place them upside down on the worktop for 10 minutes.
