Beef with horseradish sauce and spinach

Ingredients

Servings: 2
  • 100 g Pasta (for example: penne)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 2 Beef steaks (approx. 150 g each)
  • 500 g Spinach
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 1 Tomato
  • 1 TEASPOON Oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 1 TEASPOON Butter or margarine
  • 7-10 Tbsp grated nutmeg
  • 50 g Fresh cream
  • 1-2 TEASPOONS grated horseradish from the jar
  • 7-10 Tbsp a few squirts of lemon juice
  • 7-10 Tbsp Parsley and lemon

Directions

    Cook the pasta in boiling salted water for about 8 minutes. Wash the steak and dab dry. Wash and sort spinach. Peel garlic and press it through a garlic press. Wash, quarter and seed the tomato.

    Cut the fruit flesh into small cubes. Fry the steaks in hot oil on each side over high heat. Season with salt and pepper. Fry for about 3 minutes at medium heat until done. Briefly toss the tomatoes in the cooking fat.

    Melt the fat. Sauté the garlic in it. Collapse the spinach on top. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg. For the sauce, heat the crème fraîche and 100 ml water. Season with horseradish. Season with salt, pepper and lemon juice.

    Arrange steak, sauce, spinach and noodles in portions. Serve garnished with parsley and lemon.
