Beef satay skewers with sesame soy sauce, lettuce and rice

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 1 small red onion
  • 1 Cucumber
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Cider vinegar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Chili sauce
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Sunflower oil
  • 4 leaves Radicchio Salad
  • 500 g Hoof steak
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Sesame seed
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Soy sauce
  • 7-10 Tbsp wooden skewers

Directions

    Peel onion and cut into thin strips. Wash and clean the cucumber and slice it thinly. Whisk vinegar, salt and chilli sauce. Add 1 tablespoon of oil drop by drop.

    Mix onion and cucumber and marinate with the sauce. Clean the salad, wash and shake dry. Wash the meat, dab dry and cut into longish strips. Put on wooden / bamboo skewers and season with salt and pepper.

    Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a frying pan. Fry the meat in portions on each side for about 1 1/2 minutes. Remove, briefly roast sesame seeds in the frying fat, deglaze with soy sauce and remove the meat.

    Arrange cucumber salad in a radicchio leaf and meat on plates. Drizzle meat with sauce and add the rest of the sauce. Rice tastes good with it.
