Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 375 g Chicken filet
  • 375 g Pork tenderloin
  • 1 large green, red and yellow peppers
  • 200 g Long grain rice
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 100 ml Meat broth (instant)
  • 1 TABLESPOON Tomato paste
  • 500 g strained tomatoes
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sweet peppers
  • 2 Onions
  • 4 Stem(s) Marjoram
  • 4 wooden skewers

Directions

    Wash the meat, dab dry and cut into pieces. Clean, wash and cut the peppers into large pieces. Put meat and paprika alternately on the wooden skewers. Prepare rice in boiling salted water according to package instructions.

    Heat the oil in a large frying pan. Brown the skewers in it all around. Season with salt and pepper and remove. Add stock, tomato paste and tomatoes to the pan and bring to the boil. Season with salt, pepper and paprika.

    Place meat skewers in the sauce and simmer for 5 minutes at medium heat. Peel onions and cut into rings. Wash the marjoram, dab dry and pluck off the leaves, except for something to garnish.

    Roughly chop the leaves. If necessary, pour the rice onto a sieve and let it drain. Mix marjoram into the rice. Arrange Balkan skewers with sauce and rice on plates. Spread onion rings on them.

    Garnish with marjoram.
