Baguette with schnitzel strips

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 300 g Pork escalope
  • 1 TABLESPOON Oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 2 Tomatoes
  • 2 (125 g each) Balls Mozzarella
  • 4 TABLESPOONS mayonnaise
  • 1 TABLESPOON medium hot mustard
  • 1-2 TEASPOONS Lemon juice
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sugar
  • 3-4 Stem(s) Basil
  • 2 Sticks of baguette bread (à approx. 150 g)

Directions

    Wash the meat, dab dry and cut into strips. Heat oil in a pan. Fry the meat for 4-5 minutes while turning, season with salt and pepper, remove and allow to cool

    Clean, wash, dab dry and slice the tomatoes. Cut mozzarella into slices. Mix mayonnaise, mustard and lemon juice, season with a little salt, pepper and sugar. Wash the basil, shake dry, pluck the leaves from the stalks

    Cut baguette breads in half and cut each half diagonally from the top, and open. Spread 1 tbsp. mayonnaise on each cut surface, cover with mozzarella, tomatoes, escalope strips and basil leaves. Add the rest of the mayonnaise. Arrange baguettes and serve
