Squeeze the lime. Mix the juice with salt, pepper, 1 pinch of sugar and 2 tablespoons of water. Fold in the oil. Peel onion and garlic and dice finely. Wash the basil and chop coarsely, except for a few leaves. Add onion, garlic and basil to the marinade
Wash and halve the tomatoes. Cut avocados in half and remove the stones. Peel the halves and cut the flesh into large cubes. Add to the marinade with the tomatoes
Season the avocado cocktail and serve. Garnish with remaining basil. Serve with toast
