Apple jelly with vanilla and sour cream sauce

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 4 medium sized apples (e.g. Cox Orange)
  • 3/8 l apple juice
  • 3-4 Tbsp Sugar
  • 1 Cinnamon stick
  • 7-10 Tbsp juice and grated rind of 1/2 untreated lemon
  • 1 package Pudding powder "Vanilla Flavor"
  • 250 g Schmand
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Milk
  • 1/2 package Dessert sauce "Vanilla Flavor
  • 1 package Vanillin sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Apples, cranberries and lemon balm

Directions

    Peel, quarter and core the apples. Cut apple quarters into small cubes. Boil up apple pieces, apple juice and sugar. Add lemon juice, peel and cinnamon stick and cook for about 5 minutes. Stir pudding powder and a little water until smooth. Stir into the apple groats and bring to the boil again.

    Remove the cinnamon stick. Pour the groats into 4 glasses and let them cool down. Stir sour cream, milk, vanilla sugar and dessert sauce until smooth. Garnish apple groats with apple, lemon balm and cranberries. Add vanilla and sour cream sauce extra
