Apple-celery salad with herb cream cheese balls and hazelnut vinaigrette

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 300 g Picking salad
  • 1 small, mixed bunch of herbs (e.g. parsley, basil)
  • 250 g Double cream cream cheese
  • 3 TABLESPOONS white balsamic vinegar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sugar
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Olive oil
  • 25 g Hazelnut flakes
  • 2 smaller sticks of celery (approx. 125 g each)
  • 2 Apples (approx. 175 g each)

Directions

    Clean, wash and roughly pluck the lettuce and drain thoroughly. Wash herbs, dab dry, remove coarse stems and chop leaves coarsely. Form small balls from the cream cheese with moistened hands and turn them in the herbs.

    Season vinegar with salt, pepper and sugar, fold in oil. Stir in hazelnut leaves. Clean, wash and thinly slice the celery. Wash and quarter apples, remove core and cut flesh into slices.

    Mix apples, salad, celery and dressing in a bowl and arrange on plates with cream cheese balls.
