Ingredients

Servings: 1
  • 500 g Flour
  • 2 coated Tsp Baking Powder
  • 11/2 TSP Cinnamon
  • 250 g Sugar
  • 3 Eggs (size M)
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 150 g Butter or margarine
  • 7-10 Tbsp Flour
  • 1 kg white cooking fat for frying
  • 7-10 Tbsp Kitchen paper

Directions

  1. 1

Put flour, baking powder and cinnamon in a mixing bowl and mix. Add 150 g sugar, eggs, salt and fat and fold in with the dough hooks of the hand mixer. Finally knead with cool hands to a smooth dough.

  2. 2

Cover and leave to rest in a cool place for about 30 minutes. Roll out the dough about 1 cm thick on a lightly floured work surface. Cut out the almonds with an almond cutter. Heat vegetable fat in a high pot or deep fryer to 180°C.
