Ingredients

Servings: 6
  • 80 g + something Butter
  • 75 g Flour
  • 150 g crushed almonds
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Cinnamon
  • 2 Eggs (Gr. M)
  • 150 ml Milk
  • 2 Pears (approx. 400 g; e.g. Gute Luise)
  • 2 TABLESPOONS flaked almonds
  • 7-10 Tbsp Icing sugar

Directions

    Melt 80 g butter and let it cool down a little. Preheat the oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/circulating air: 180 °C/gas: see manufacturer). Grease an ovenproof dish (approx. 24 cm Ø).

    Mix flour, ground almonds, sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Whisk eggs, milk and liquid butter. Mix milk and flour mixture. Peel, quarter, core, dice and fold in pears. Fill into the mould, sprinkle with almonds.

    Bake in a hot oven for 40-45 minutes. Dust with icing sugar. Tastes best warm, for example with cream or vanilla ice cream.
