Winter Rooibos cherry jam (cooking with tea)

Ingredients

  • 3 TABLESPOONS Rooibos-Tee
  • 700 g frozen cherries
  • 4 Star Anise
  • 1 package (500 g) Gelling sugar 2:1
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Lemon juice
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Orange liqueur

    Pour 300 ml of boiling water over the tea and leave to steep for at least 10 minutes. Pour tea through a fine sieve. Bring the cherries, star anise, jam sugar, lemon juice, orange liqueur and tea to the boil while stirring and boil for about 5 minutes while stirring continuously. Pour jam immediately into prepared twist-off jars. Close the jars, turn them upside down and let them stand on the lid for about 5 minutes. Turn them over and let them cool down
