Ingredients

Servings: 15
  • 1 package (about 7 g) Dry yeast
  • 1 TEASPOON Sugar
  • 500 g Flour
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 125 ml Milk
  • 50 g hulled sesame seed
  • 7-10 Tbsp Flour
  • baking paper

Directions

  1. 1

Mix yeast, sugar, flour and 1 teaspoon salt in a bowl. Warm the milk lukewarm. Pour 125-150 ml of lukewarm water and milk into the flour mix and knead into a smooth dough with the dough hooks of the hand mixer. Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour

  2. 2

Place the dough on a floured work surface and knead briefly. Divide the dough into pieces weighing about 80 g. Form dough pieces into oval rolls, place on 2 baking trays lined with baking paper and score lengthwise. Brush the surface with some water and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Cover the rolls and let them rest for 30-45 minutes

  3. 3

Bake the trays one after the other in a preheated oven (electric cooker: 225 °C/ convection oven: 200 °C/ gas: see manufacturer) for approx. 15 minutes until golden brown. Remove the rolls and let them cool down. Raspberry jam tastes good with it
