  • 200 g Flour
  • 100 g ground hazelnuts
  • 80 g Sugar
  • 1 package Vanilla sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 175 g cold butter
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Icing sugar
  • baking paper

    flour, nuts, sugar, 1⁄2 vanilla sugar, 1 pinch of salt and butter in pieces, first with the dough hooks of the mixer, then knead briefly with your hands to a smooth dough. Form dough into 3 equal-sized rolls (each approx. 3 cm Ø) and cover with at least

    Chill for 2 hours.

    Preheat oven (electric cooker: 175 °C/circulating air: 150 °C/gas: see manufacturer). Line two baking trays with baking paper. Cut dough rolls into slices of approx. 1 cm thickness. Press in lightly with the back of a fork, crosswise.

    Spread out on the sheets. Bake in a hot oven for 10-12 minutes one after the other until they are lightly browned.

    Take out, let it cool down on the tray for about 5 minutes. Sieve the icing sugar onto a deep plate and mix with the rest of the vanilla sugar. Turn the cookies while they are still hot. Let them cool down.
