Vanilla Crescent Balls

Ingredients

  • Two pck. Bourbon vanilla sugar
  • 250 g Flour
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 200 g Butter
  • 100 g ground almonds without skin
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Icing sugar
  • baking paper

Directions

    Knead the flour, 1 packet of vanilla sugar, sugar, butter in pieces and almonds to a smooth dough. Wrap dough in cling film and chill for about 1 hour.

    Take the dough out of the refrigerator and form small balls (approx. 2.5 cm Ø) from it. Place the vanilla crescent balls on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven (electric cooker: 175 °C/ convection oven: 150 °C/ gas: see manufacturer) for approx. 20-25 minutes until golden brown.

    Mix 1 packet of vanilla sugar with icing sugar and roll the finished, still warm balls in it.
