Turkey skewers with curry kiwi sauce

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 TEASPOON + 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 TABLESPOON Curry
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 5 (approx. 500 g) ripe kiwis
  • 1 TABLESPOON Apricot Jam
  • 1 glass (370 ml) pickled roasted peppers
  • 10 thin slices of bacon
  • 8 wooden skewers

Directions

    Peel and chop the onion. Fry in 1 tsp. hot oil until translucent. Sprinkle with curry, sweat it, then let it cool down. Peel kiwis. Chop 3 roughly, mash with jam. Stir in curry and onion. Finely dice 1 kiwi, stir into the sauce. Cut 1 into slices.

    Drain the peppers. Cut the paprika and bacon into large pieces. Wash the meat, dab dry and chop roughly. Alternate with bacon and paprika and put them tightly on skewers

    Fry turkey skewers in 2 tablespoons of hot oil for 8-10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Arrange skewers, some sauce and kiwi slices. The rest of the sauce is extra. Served with: Basmati rice
