Turkey legs with avocado dip

Ingredients

Servings: 8
  • 2 packs (4 pieces each, approx. 1200 g) Turkey thighs
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 1 TABLESPOON Chilli powder
  • 2 TABLESPOONS dried
  • 7-10 Tbsp Oregano
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 2 Onions
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 2 Lemons
  • 2 Avocado
  • 7-10 Tbsp s
  • 150 g clotted cream
  • 7-10 Tbsp Peffer
  • 7-10 Tbsp fresh oregano

Directions

    Wash the legs and pat dry. Mix 1 teaspoon of salt, chilli powder and dried oregano. Distribute evenly on the legs. Put them on a baking tray covered with oil. Bake in a preheated oven (electric: 200 °C/ gas: level 3) for 40-45 minutes.

    In the meantime, for the dip, peel and finely chop the onions and garlic. Wash 1 lemon thoroughly, rub dry. Grate the peel. Squeeze the juice. Halve avocados, remove seeds. Peel avocado and cut into pieces.

    Mash the avocado flesh with the lemon juice. Mix with the sour cream, onion, garlic and grated lemon peel. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Wash the rest of the lemon and cut into slices.

    Serve turkey legs garnished with lemon wedges and fresh oregano. Serve with dip.
