Truffle ice cream with oranges

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 2 big oranges
  • 1 TABLESPOON Butter or margarine
  • 2 heaped Tbsp Sugar
  • 1 TABLESPOON Lemon juice
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Orange juice
  • 4 (80 g each) balls of cream truffle ice cream refined with rum
  • 7-10 Tbsp Orange wheels and mint
  • 2 TEASPOONS chopped pistachio seeds and icing sugar for sprinkling

Directions

    Peel oranges so that the white skin is completely removed. Cut oranges into slices. Melt the fat in a pan. Caramelise the sugar in it. Deglaze with lemon and orange juice, bring to the boil briefly.

    Turn orange slices in it. Serve with 1 scoop of truffle ice cream. Decorate as you like with orange wheels and mint. Serve sprinkled with pistachios and icing sugar
