Onions peel and in fine cubes cut. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the ground pork. Add onions and fry until golden brown. Season with sugar, salt and pepper. Add tomatoes, bay leaf and herbs of Provence.
Simmer the sauce at medium heat for about 10 minutes. Meanwhile, cook the pasta in boiling salted water according to the instructions on the packet until al dente. Clean broccoli, cut into florets and wash. Blanch broccoli in salted water for about 3 minutes, rinse and drain.
Add beans and broccoli to the sauce, bring to the boil once and season with salt and pepper. In the meantime, grate the cheese. Add the pasta to the sauce and mix. Pour into 2 smaller or 1 large casserole dish.
Sprinkle cheese on top and bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 175 °C/ convection oven: 150 °C/ gas: level 2) for about 15 minutes.
