Tomato sauce

Ingredients

Servings: 6
  • 400 g Vine tomatoes
  • 600 g sweet cocktail tomatoes
  • 2 can(s) peeled tomatoes
  • 500 ml Tomato juice
  • 200 g white onions
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 7-10 Tbsp ½ Basil bunch
  • 50 g Olive oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt

Directions

    Wash the tomatoes, remove the stalk and then quarter them.

    Cut white onions into fine strips and sauté in olive oil until they are glassy.

  3. 3

    Crush the garlic, quarter it with the tomatoes and add all other ingredients to the onions.

    Let it boil down at medium heat and pass through a sieve.

    Season to taste with salt and pepper.
