Three sauces for cake: Strawberry and elderberry puree

Ingredients

  • 300 g frozen strawberries
  • 1 TABLESPOON Icing sugar
  • 2-3 TABLESPOONS Elderflower syrup

    defrost strawberries

    Finely puree the strawberries, icing sugar and syrup in a tall beaker, if necessary season again with syrup. Fill the sauce into bottles and serve with e.g. sponge cake or muffins
