Ingredients

Servings: 8
  • 3 small zucchini
  • 7-10 Tbsp salt, pepper, cinnamon, nutmeg
  • 2 piece(s) (250 g each) halloumic cheese
  • 1 onion, 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 red chillies
  • 750 g mixed mince
  • 1 TEASPOON liquid honey
  • 8 discs Bacon
  • 16 dried soft apricots
  • 24 wooden skewers

Directions

    Clean and wash the courgettes and cut them lengthwise into 24 thin slices with a slicer or knife. Season the slices lightly with salt and pepper. Cut the cheese into 24 pieces. Roll 1 zucchini slice around 1 piece of cheese.

    Put 3 rolls on each skewer.

    Peel and finely dice the onion and garlic. Clean the chilli, cut lengthwise, remove seeds, wash and chop very finely. Knead minced meat, onions, garlic and chili. Season with 1 tsp salt, honey, 1⁄2 tsp cinnamon and 1⁄4 tsp nutmeg.

    Form the mince into 16 rolls.

    Cut the bacon slices in half crosswise. Wrap each apricot with 1⁄2 slice of bacon and put 1 apricot and 1 chopped roll on each of the remaining skewers. Then grill all skewers on the hot grill for about 10 minutes.
