  • 1 TEASPOON Dry yeast
  • 125 g Sugar
  • 100 g Whipped cream
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Egg Yolk
  • 1 pinch Salt

  • 1 TABLESPOON Rum
  • 80 g Flour
  • 4 medium-sized apples
  • 1/2 l Frying fat
  • 1 TABLESPOON Cinnamon
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Sugar

Directions

  1. 1

For the yeast pillows, mix flour and yeast. Mix 80 g sugar, cream, egg, egg yolk and salt first with the dough hooks of the hand mixer, then with your hands to a smooth dough. Roll out to a thickness of about 4 mm on a lightly floured work surface. Cut out squares about 4 cm in size. ( Results in 25-30 pieces). Bake in hot frying fat for about 3 minutes until golden brown. Turn once. Mix cinnamon and the remaining sugar and turn the yeast pillow while still warm. For the fritters mix egg, milk, rum and flour to a smooth dough. Wash the apples, cut out the core. Cut apples into slices. Pull through the dough with a fork and also fry until golden brown and serve with cinnamon sugar. Rosehip jam tastes good with it
