Pour the cherries into a sieve and drain well. Separate the eggs. Mix quark, sugar, semolina, salt, egg yolks and sauce powder with the whisk of the hand mixer. Season to taste with sweetener.
Beat the egg white until stiff and stir in portions. Fill cherries into a greased ovenproof dish. Spread the quark mixture evenly on top. Sprinkle with flaked almonds. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 175 °C/ convection oven: 150 °C/ gas: level 2) for 50-60 minutes.
Remove from the oven, dust with icing sugar and serve decorated with mint.
