Ingredients

  • 30 g Butter
  • 2 slightly heaped tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 150 g Macadamia nut kernels, natural
  • 150 g Walnut kernels
  • 200 g Hazelnut kernels
  • 100 g Pistachio kernels
  • 50 g Sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • baking paper

Directions

    Melt butter in a pot, add cinnamon and mix. Add nuts, sugar and salt and stir until all nuts are well coated with the butter-sugar mixture

    Spread the nuts on a baking tray lined with baking paper (approx. 33 x 39 cm). Roast in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 150 °C/ circulating air: 125 °C/ gas: level 1) for 25-35 minutes. Stir 2-3 times in between. Do not roast too long, otherwise the nuts will become bitter. To test whether the nuts are ready, simply try a nut - but be careful that it is hot! Remove the finished nuts from the baking tray with the baking paper and let them cool down. Wrap them up nicely as you like. Store airtight, dry, dark and cool
