Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 8 Tomatoes
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 8 Stem(s) Thyme
  • 3 Branches of rosemary
  • 3 Garlic cloves
  • 4 Rump steaks (approx. 200 g each)
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Olive oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 20 (approx. 400 g, without head, with shell) ready-to-cook shrimps
  • 7-10 Tbsp Aluminium foil

Directions

    Wash the tomatoes and leave them green. Season with salt and braise in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ circulating air: 175 °C/ gas: see manufacturer) for about 15 minutes. Wash the herbs and shake dry.

    Peel and halve the garlic.

    Dab steaks dry and cut the fat edge several times crosswise. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a frying pan. Fry 2 steaks on each side over high heat for 3-4 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

    Wrap in aluminium foil and let it rest for 5-8 minutes. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in the frying fat and fry the other two steaks in the same way and let them rest.

    Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in the frying fat. Fry the prawns for 2-3 minutes, turning them over. Fry garlic and thyme briefly. Season with salt and pepper. Arrange tomatoes, shrimps and meat together.
