Clean, wash and stone the cherries. Melt butter and let it cool down. Heat milk, almond extract and cream. Mix flour and sugar in a bowl. Stir in eggs one after the other, then add butter and cream-milk mixture and stir in.
Grease the ramekins and spread cherries in them. Pour cream over them and bake in a preheated oven (electric cooker: 175 °C/ convection oven: 150 °C/ gas: see manufacturer) for approx. 40 minutes until the cream has set.
Serve hot or cold. Before serving, dust with icing sugar if necessary.
