Stuffed onions with green spelt curry

Ingredients

Servings: 3
  • 6 Onions (approx. 120 g each)
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 1-2 TEASPOONS Curry
  • 100 g Green spelt
  • 7-10 Tbsp salt, white pepper
  • 1 small red pepper
  • 1/2 potty Coriander
  • 7-10 Tbsp or parsley
  • 100 g Sour cream or crème fraîche
  • 75 g Gouda cheese
  • 1/8 l Vegetable broth

Directions

    Onions peel and horizontally halve. Carefully remove the inside with a small knife, dice. Heat the oil in a pot. Sauté diced onions in it. Sprinkle curry over them. Add unripe spelt grain and about 1/4 l water. Bring to the boil, cover and simmer at low heat for 30-40 minutes

    Meanwhile, cover the hollowed onions and stew them for about 5 minutes in a little boiling salted water. Lift them out and let them drain. Place in a flat ovenproof dish

    Clean, wash and finely dice the peppers. Wash and chop the coriander. Stir the paprika and sour cream into the green spelt. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Fill the green spelt curry into the onions

    Grate the cheese and sprinkle over the onions. Pour on the stock. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/recirculating air: 175 °C/gas: level 3) for approx. 20 minutes
