Ingredients

  • 12 Ladyfingers
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Brandy
  • 550 g Whipped cream
  • 3 Egg yolk (size M)
  • 50 g Sugar
  • 1/2 TEASPOON Vanilla extract
  • 1 TABLESPOON Icing sugar
  • 150 g Strawberry Jam
  • 2 Strawberries
  • 1 TABLESPOON flaked almonds

Directions

    Break the lady fingers into bite-sized pieces and place them in the serving dish. Sprinkle evenly with brandy and leave to stand

    Bring 300 g cream to the boil. Mix egg yolks with sugar. Slowly mix the hot cream with the egg yolk-sugar mixture using the whisks of the hand mixer. Stir in vanilla extract. Rinse the pot, put the cream-egg mixture back into the pot and cook over a low heat while stirring until a thick sauce is formed. Let cool down

    Mix strawberry jam and spread on the lady fingers. Pour vanilla sauce over it and let it cool down. Wash the strawberries, dab dry and cut in half. Roast the flaked almonds in a pan without fat, remove. Whip 250 g cream until stiff. Finally pour in icing sugar. Spread the cream on the vanilla sauce layer, decorate with strawberries and flaked almonds
