Steamed apple rings with cinnamon-mascarpone cream

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 2 Apples
  • 2 TABLESPOONS lactose-free butter
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Sugar
  • 75 ml apple juice
  • 100 g lactose-free mascarpone
  • 100 g lactose-free low-fat curd
  • 100 ml lactose-free milk
  • 7-10 Tbsp pulp of 1/2 vanilla pod
  • 7-10 Tbsp Cinnamon

Directions

    Wash apples, remove core with an apple corer. Cut apples into thick slices. Melt butter in a pan. Fry the apple slices briefly. Sprinkle with 2 tbsp. sugar, deglaze with apple juice, bring to the boil and steam for about 2 minutes.

    Stir mascarpone, quark, milk, 2 tablespoons sugar and vanilla pulp until smooth. Season with cinnamon. Arrange apple rings on a plate. Serve with the cinnamon-mascarpone cream.
