Steak sandwiches with salad and salsa

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 150 g roasted peppers (glass)
  • 100 g Arugula (rocket)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 4 Baguette roll
  • 4 small hoof steaks (approx. 125 g each)
  • 1-2 TABLESPOONS Oil

Directions

    Peel and finely dice the onion and garlic. Drain and finely dice the peppers. Clean, wash and shake dry the arugula. Chop half the rocket coarsely and mix with onion, garlic and paprika.

    Season the paprika salsa to taste with salt and pepper.

    If necessary, bake the rolls briefly on the toaster. Pat the steaks dry. Heat oil in a coated pan. Fry the steaks for 2-3 minutes on each side. Season with salt and pepper.

    Cut open the buns. Cut steaks lengthwise into slices. Cover the roll with rocket, steak slices and paprika salsa.
